These three are MTN8 ambassadors tasked with the responsibility to attract crowds to stadiums during the MTN8 games. MooiVaal Media has been identified as one of the media houses that has a huge impact in the development of football in Gauteng. However, this tour is inspired by Orlando Pirates sensation Relebohile Mofokeng who happen to come from the Vaal.

Mofokeng has been a revelation for Orlando Pirates for the past two seasons. He is expected to carry Pirates on his small shoulder when Mighty Buccaneers hope to make history by winning the MTN8. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, McCarthy and Ramagalela predicted that Stellenbosch will be crowned the champions come Saturday afternoon. The two told Sedibeng Ster Sport that Stellenbosch has been consistent for the past three seasons.

“I will give this one to Stellenbosch because there is something special about this team. They are a team with a well-placed structure and they have been maintaining their form for a long time now,” said McCarthy.

His sentiments were echoed by Ramagalela, who also told Sedibeng Ster Sport that Stellenbosch will be crowned the champions of the MTN8. However, Gould differed with the two saying Pirates has all it takes to defend their title and be crowned the MTN8 champions for the third time in a row.
