Sedibeng male netball teams bring medals home

"We were all happy with their individual performances and the future looks great for them."

SEDIBENG – Sedibeng male netball teams for the first time participated in the National South African Netball Championships. However, despite it being their first time at this national tournament, Sedibeng male U23 and senior teams didn’t disappoint.

The teams brought home silver and bronze medals respectively.

The championship was held at Ellis Park Arena from September 26-30. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the veteran netball administrator and coach, Dudu Msane, was full of compliments for both teams. She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that both teams made Sedibeng proud.

She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that it was a great performance displayed by both teams. “They didn’t show any respect to their opponents even though it was their first time in the competition. They earned the medals by producing the best performance in all the games they played. I have no doubt that next year we are going to bring gold medals home.”

“We were all happy with their individual performances and the future looks great for them. They should keep on working hard to better themselves,” said Msane.

Msane is one of the respected netball administrators/coaches who has served this game with distinctions.

She has been in this game for a long time as a player, coach and administrator. If it wasn’t for her love of this game, netball wouldn’t be where it is today. She continues to contribute to the development of netball in the community.
