Eureka School shines at Del Arte Eisteddfod

Sauermann said the opportunity to perform at the Gala Evening alongside other top performers was a proud moment for the school.

VEREENIGING – The learners of Eureka School dazzled at the Del Arte Eisteddfod held from August 6 to 27, showcasing an impressive range of talents across various disciplines including dancing, singing, and recitals.

The school participated in several categories, consistently scoring high marks and earning accolades for their outstanding performances.

Eureka School’s Santie Sauermann says: “The high-energy performances, particularly the senior gumboots and percussion Autism group, both of which scored 91%, received standing ovations from the audience. The school’s choir, which scored an impressive 90% and 94% in their categories, was invited to perform at the prestigious Gala Evening, a testament to their exceptional talent.”

Talking about individual achievements, Sauermann highlighted that Jayden Schoeman excelled in the piano recital garnering and A++ grade.
“Jayden, along with Ruben Snyman and Oliver-Lee Vorster, performed as a trio, earning the highest possible grade of A+++ for their breathtaking performance.

“The learners from Eureka School did not only participate but excelled, with a string of high percentages reflecting their hard work and dedication.”

Sauermann said the opportunity to perform at the Gala Evening alongside other top performers was a proud moment for the school.

“We want to congratulate all the learners and teachers for their efforts and praise them for their perseverance and commitment. Our students continue to amaze us with their talent.”

Sauermann said performances at the Del Arte Eisteddfod were a true reflection of the spirit and passion fostered at Eureka School.
