SEDIBENG.- Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) and Midvaal Local Football Association (MLFA) won’t participate in the Inter Regional Play-Offs.
Sedibeng Ster Sport previously reported that the two LFAs’ Super League season for 2023/2024 would be declared null void. This was after a highly placed source reliably informed the publication that the two LFAs registered players after the window period was closed. The two LFAs were found guilty for failing to comply by registering players outside the window period stipulated in the South African Football Association (SAFA) uniform rules.
Sedibeng Ster Sport is in possession of a letter that SAFA Sedibeng Regional Leagues Coordinator Mandla Dipanyekga sent to the two football associations regarding this matter.
This therefore means that Lesedi Local Football Association teams 016 Magista FC and Gabon FC will be automatically promoted to Safa Sedibeng Hollywood Men’s Regional League for the 2024/2025 season.
