No Inter Regional play-offs this weekend AGAIN!
The SAFA Sedibeng Inter Regional Play-Offs has now been postponed for the third time.
SEDIBENG – The South African Football Association (SAFA) Sedibeng Inter Regional Play-Offs has now been postponed for the third time.
Sedibeng Ster Sport reported that the play-offs would take place over the weekend (August 3-4) but it was postponed at the last minute. It was supposed to take place at the Rathanda Stadium in Heidelberg. Sedibeng Ster Sport is in possession of a voice message that the Emfuleni Local Football Association’s Competitions Convener, Oupa Tladinyane, sent to the clubs.
Tladinyane told the teams that the play-offs had to be postponed due to incorrect registration. The play-offs determine the two teams that will be promoted to the SAFA Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League for the 2024/25 season. The play-offs were supposed to take place a long time ago and this might delay the kick-off of the season. The SAFA Sedibeng Men Regional League has started behind schedule for years now. Sedibeng Ster Sport will follow this development with key interest.
