SHARPEVILLE. – The Sharpeville police are investigating an inquest docket after they received a complaint of a body inside the Pan Dam near the Dlomo Dam outside Sharpeville recently.
Police spokesperson, Constable Busisiwe Sango said that upon arrival police found a body floating inside the dam.
“SAPS water wing divers were contacted to retrieve the body from the dam. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the body was that of a man. The body of the deceased is unidentified at this stage,” Sango said.
The Sharpeville Police are pleading with the members of the community or anyone who might have information regarding this matter to please come forward. Anyone who’s loved one is missing is also urged to come forward, and any information will be treated with the sternest confidentiality.
