SEBOKENG. – Meet Dieketseng Mosuoe (20) the founder and creative force behind Diih Gemini Art, a sustainable fashion label that’s redefining the industry’s standards.
With a love for fashion design and a passion for innovation, Mosuoe began her journey in the fashion world as a freelance designer. After months of working with models, artists and Influencers and honing their skills, she saw an opportunity to create something new – a clothing line that not only make people look and feel great but also contributes to a more sustainable future.
Diih Gemini Art was formed this year with a focus on eco-friendly materials, minimal waste, and timeless designs. The brand quickly gained a loyal following. Mosuoe’s commitment to sustainability and quality has led to collaborations with like-minded brands and artists, as well as features in prominent fashion publications. Mosuoe was born and grew up in Edenville, Free State where she realised that she was gifted in the arts, particularly in drawing.
“When I was in grade 8, my mom bought me oil pastel colours as she was aware that I have an interest in art. By the time I was grade 10, I decided to come and stay with my mom here in Sebokeng and that is when I started to pursue doing art. I started to sell some of my artwork at school in grade 12 for pocket money,” Mosuoe said.
When she isn’t in the studio, you can find her exploring local flea markets for inspiration. Her philosophy is simple: “Fashion should be a force for good, and everyone deserves to look and feel their best without compromising the planet.”
As Diih Gemini Art continues to grow, Mosuoe remains dedicated to pushing the boundaries of sustainable fashion and empowering others to join the movement.
