Help Lesego make it to Italy

VEREENIGING. – Vereeniging’s Lesego Salome has been selected to participate in a U/18 Rhino Hockey tour to Italy in December.
Hindering this from becoming a reality is a lack of funds. The grade 12 pupil at Gimnasium Hoer Skool in Vereeniging needs an amount needed of R50 000 to make the trip, of which R10 000 is the acceptance fee, that must be paid on or before July 31.
His mother, Lorato Salome said that her child will greatly appreciate help towards making the tour.
“This is a dream come true for him, I am pleading with community members, the community at large and the business people to please help out.The tour will take place from the December 2 to December 11 and the players depend on sponsorships and donations. We will appreciate it if you can support him financially. I do believe that this is only one step closer to the Green and Gold.”
In 2019 & 2023 the Rhino teams toured England, Wales and Ireland. Although the 2024 matches have not yet been confirmed, the team will be playing against U/18 teams from Italy.
Tour costs contribute to return flights, accommodation, food, transportation, travel insurance and playing kit.
