Nkemele nominated for 11th INGOMA Awards

The awards are dedicated at exposing, promoting and celebrating the talent of upcoming and independent gospel musicians.

SEBOKENG. – Local Gospel artist, Paseka Nkemele has been nominated for the 11th Independent National Gospel Music Awards (INGOMA) in the category, Best Single.

This is for his single, ‘Ke wena fela’ which features Pastor T.I Mthimkulu amongst others.

The organisers said that the awards are dedicated at exposing, promoting and celebrating the talent of upcoming and independent gospel musicians and that this is a way of encouraging perfection. Serving under the leadership of Bishop T.I. Mthimkulu and Pastor Veronica Mthimkulu at the Koinonia Bible Church in Zone 14, Sebokeng, Nkemele released the single in November last year.

Nkemele hails from the Vaal and has had the opportunity to work with Israel Mosetle and the Vaal Chorus among other well-known musicians/groups. He ventured into music professionally in 2001 and has shared the stage with highly acclaimed artists such as Lira, Sello Malete, Dumi Mkokstad, Mmatema, and Dideka Beja. Nkemele has two albums under his name called ‘Ke utlwa Lerato’ and ‘He saved me from the Fire’, he also has a couple of singles.
