Four lifeless bodies found inside Meyerton house

The motive behind the deaths remains unclear at this stage.

MEYERTON. – The police in Meyerton have opened an inquest docket after four lifeless bodies and an unconscious male were discovered inside a house on Modikeng Street in Sicelo on Saturday, 15 June.
According to Constable Tlaleng Moloi, a spokesperson for the Meyerton police, the authorities received a complaint and, upon arrival at the scene, found paramedics assisting an unconscious male.
“Officers also met the complainant, who directed them to a house.
“Upon entering, the officers discovered four bodies: an adult female (36), a 16-year-old female teenager, a 6-year-old boy, and an infant (2), all without visible injuries, in separate rooms of the house,” Moloi told Vaalweekblad.
According to Moloi, the deceased were declared dead at the scene by paramedics, and the unconscious male was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
The motive behind the deaths remains unclear at this stage.
An inquest docket has since been opened, and the case is currently under investigation.
