EVATON._ It’s official, All Black FC and T-Squad FC will represent Emfuleni at the Inter-Regional Promotion Play-offs.
This was after these teams finished first and second at the Champ of Champs Play-offs that was held at Qedilizwe ground in Evaton North on Sunday. These two teams will join the two local football association teams to compete for promotion to Safa Sedibeng Hollywood Regional League in the new season. All Blacks FC was crowned the overall winners of Champ of Champs for finishing at the top of the Play-offs log standings.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) Competitions Convener, Oupa Tladinyane hailed this Champ of Champs Play-offs as a success.
He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the Play-offs went as they planned.
Tladinyane further said that he was overwhelmed by the standard of football that was displayed by all the teams that participated, adding that it was high quality of football on display on the day. He said he has no doubt that the two teams that will represent Emfuleni at Inter-Regional Play Offs are going to make them proud.
The date for the inter-regional Play-offs is still to be announced by Safa Sedibeng.
“I was really impressed by the quality of football I watched on Sunday with all the teams bringing their ‘A game’. You could tell that they came into these games well prepared and determined to win but unfortunately there was only two winners we wanted on the day. But I must say all these teams deserve to be in the inter-regional play offs. As ELFA, we congratulate and wish All Blacks FC and T-Squad FC best of luck in their Play-offs campaign. It is our wish as the association to have both teams from ELFA to gain promotion to the Safa Sedibeng Hollywood League.”
