SEDIBENG.- Young Pirates FC find themselves in the ropes to win both of their upcoming Gauteng Hollywood Inter-Regional Play Offs fixtures at Marks Park Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday.
This was after Pirates FC started their Play-offs campaign on a lower note when they played 1-1 draw against Eesterus Rams before they suffered a 4-1 defeat to OPOPO FC in the second fixture over the weekend.
Pirates represent Sedibeng at this Gauteng Inter-Regional Play-offs which started over the weekend, and as things stand, they are in fourth position on the log with only a point. They find themselves against the ropes to win both of their last game against Elspark Inited FC and Young Boys FC on Saturday. It is a must win games for Young Pirates if they entertain any hope to gain promotion to the ABC Motsepe League in the new season.
The two top teams will be promoted to ABC Motsepe League at the end of the Play-offs. However, as things stands, there is no hope that Sedibeng will have a representative in ABC Motsepe League looking at the current Pirates FC standing on the log.
OPOPO FC is leading the log with 6 points while Elspark United is second on the log standing with 4 points. Eesterus Rams FC is third on the log with 3 points while Pirates are fourth with one point. All the teams have played two games and are expected to play the same number of games to wrap up their Play-offs campaign this coming Saturday.
It is going to be a mountain to climb for Young Pirates FC unless something happens at the top of the log.
