Imbizo for Sebokeng SAPS Patrollers

"Patrollers were encouraged, and were keen on working jointly with the Station Commander".

SEBOKENG.- Sebokeng Police Station’s Brigadier Thembekile Kubone, alongside Sebokeng SAPS Social Crime Prevention, hosted an Imbizo for Sebokeng SAPS area Patrollers at the station on Tuesday.

Sebokeng CPF Chairperson Biggy Nketle and about 200 patrollers attended the event that was addressed by Brigadier Thembekile Kubone on the following matters:

– Patrols in sectors
– ⁠Reporting of crime
– ⁠How to handle complaints
– ⁠Informing the Station Commander when complaints are not being attended to
– ⁠Joint operation with GTW, patrollers, and the police
– ⁠Vetting of patrollers

Sebokeng police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said, “Patrollers were encouraged, and were keen on working jointly with the Station Commander, the police and GTW to ensure that the community is safe during this winter season. The police urge the community members to participate in various structures of community patrols.”

Mokhachane said that the Station Commander’s contact number are 071 675 7218 and that, “her door is always open”.
