"I’m humbled by this and I want to thank the Waterdal community for their support every time I need them most."

SEBOKENG.- One of the selfless community leaders, Mamosweu Tsoabi, was one of the nominees of the Renewable Energy Heroes Award.

These continental awards were hosted by Afrika Vuka and 350.org with the aim being to acknowledge the change makers in the communities who are  making it with decentralised energy sources. The community of Waterdal came to witness this special recognition handed over to one of their own, Tsoabi.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Tsoabi said that she is overwhelmed by this recognition and promised to continue to serve her community. Tsoabi has been involved in many communities’ project to change the lives of the ordinary community members that include men, women, and children.

She is the founder of ‘Serapeng Sa Ditlhare’ which is a Non Profit Organisation (NPO).

“I really want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who recognised my contribution in my community. This means a lot to me and serves as motivation to serve my community with distinction. I’m humbled by this and I want to thank the Waterdal community for their support every time I need them most. They are the reason why I was nominated for this award and I will keep on representing them,’ she concluded.
