Radebe uses talent to escape childhood poverty

“Look, my way of art delivery is not only based on music but also media in general."

BOPHELONG.- Baba “Rabs” Radebe is an upcoming artist determined to make a name for himself in the South African music industry.

Rabs is not just a music artist but also specialised art content, composer, and producer. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Radebe said he is much in love with art and promises to pursue his passion for art.

“Look, my way of art delivery is not only based on music but also media in general, television, and radio personality, vocalist including live instrumentalist to name a few. I want to make an impact in the music industry.

“I never had a great upbringing since poverty was a friend to my childhood and I saw music as the only way to escape my childhood struggle. Music makes me feel special and privileged, and I have no doubt that I’m destined for great things in this industry,” said Radebe.

He told Sedibeng Ster that his vision is to see himself on big stages with an audience of thousands of people. He also dreams of being in front of a camera.

Rabs discovered his singing talent at the age of 10 which unlocked a lot more talents as mentioned above, and as a child, he believed that anyone could be what they wish to be in life.
