Man arrested for pointing firearm

VAAL MARINA. – A man was recently arrested and a case of pointing a firearm is being investigated by the Vaal Marina police.
It is said that a woman was walking in the Mamello informal settlement when she was accosted and pointed at with a firearm.
Police spokesperson, Constable Tshilidzi De Huis said that the suspect was driving a white Honda Ballad.
“The suspect shot twice in the air while the female was with her 9-month-old child. Police were called to the scene and the suspect was arrested and detained the same evening.”
