Three Boipatong Pre-Schools enlightened on child abuse
The day was filled with fun and educational activities centered on promoting children’s rights.
BOIPATONG.- Boipatong SAPS in combination with Crime Prevention Wardens (CPWs) and SAPS Boipatong patrollers visited three pre-schools to inculcate the children and teachers about child abuse in Boipatong, on Tuesday.
The Pre-schools that were visited were Teletubbies Day Care Centre with thirty children at 8101 Phase 5, Ekukhanyeni Early Learning Child Centre, with thirty children at Phase 3; and Dr Nkomo Str Angel’s of Hope Day & After Care with eighteen children at Dr Nkomo Street Lusaka 2.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Thembekile Maxambela said the children were thrilled to see the police.
“The day was filled with fun and educational activities centered on promoting children’s rights as well as the protection of children against all forms of violence, abuse, and exploitation.”
