Body found inside burned Zone 16 house

A man was found outside the burning house after emergency personnel were called to the scene.

SEBOKENG. – The Sebokeng Police have opened an inquest after the body of a woman was found in a burned house in Zone 16, Sebokeng on Saturday.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said that a man was found outside the burning house after emergency personnel were called to the scene and paramedics gave him medical attention as he was unconscious.

“The Firefighters worked hard to extinguish the fire so that it did not spread. During the search in the house, the lifeless body of a woman was found burnt in the bedroom,” said Mokhachane.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and no one has come forward with further information. Mokhachane appeals to the public for any information that may assist regarding the investigation.
