CPF planning meeting at Vaal Marina

During the meeting, the objectives and responsibilities of the community policing forum were explained, along with the requirements for its functional operation and the scheduled date for the final election of the forum members.

SEDIBENG.- The Vaal Marina SAPS, led by Station Commander Captain JB Greyling, along with the management, hosted a CPF (Community Policing Forum) planning meeting at Vaal Marina Community Hall recently.

The management team included Warrant Officer Viljoen as the Vispol commander, Warrant Officer Neathute as the support head, and Warrant Officer Ngwenya as the Detective commander. The primary aim of the meeting was to strategies and prepare for the upcoming elections of the community policing forum.

Constable Tshilidzi De Huis, the spokesperson for Vaal Marina SAPS, expressed satisfaction with the turnout, noting that community members from all precincts within the Vaal Marina police jurisdiction attended.

De Huis added that the meeting was observed by representatives from the MEC’s office, ensuring transparency and accountability in the forum’s establishment process.
