River Square offers much needed assistance

Clothing and food were collected and handed over to charities in the Vaal Triangle.

VEREENIGING. – River Square Shopping Centre held a donations drive during the festive season where shoppers were asked to support their favourite local charities, a specific cause or the community at large.

Through this initiative River Square was able to provide much needed aid to organisations such as the Vereeniging Lions, 50 Shades of Spay, Echoes of Love Old Age Home and LifeLine Vereeniging.

Marinda Smook, River Square’s marketing manager thanked the community for their generosity during the holiday season.

Addressing shoppers who contributed to this project, she said, “We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Your open hearts and helping hands poured out an abundance of donations for these charities.”
