Win your share of R35 000 Vaal Mall vouchers
This is the fifth year Vaal Mall is hosting the Christmas Tree Competition and shoppers are invited to be part of the festive magic.
Glittering Christmas trees with sparkling ornaments are a much-loved festive season tradition for all.
Now, for the fifth year running at Vaal Mall, shoppers are invited to be part of the festive magic and create their very own Christmas trees themed LOVE & JOY for a chance to win a share of R35,000 in Vaal Mall gift cards.
The competition is open to all talented creators, makers and artists.
They invite artisans, homemakers, students, the newly retired, designers, schools, local non-profit organisations, those who are bored or busy and anyone keen to use their creativity to celebrate the festive holidays.
Trees can be made from any materials that you can put your hands on and can be as fun, unique and inspiring as their makers – providing they reflect the theme of LOVE & JOY in some way.
Christmas trees must be at least two to three (2m-3m) meters tall and stable enough to stand unassisted.
“Other than the height requirement, and the representation of the theme LOVE & JOY, the only limit is the imagination,” says Shana Maree-Paraskevopoulos, Portfolio Manager for Vaal Mall.
“We’re looking forward to seeing our shoppers’ Christmas trees come to life and we hope they each inspire our community too. Our wish for our shoppers is that they experience many moments of love and joy in their lives during this special time of year, which is why we are so keen to share the message and inspiration of LOVE & JOY for all.

The competition is now open and entrants must ensure their Christmas trees are delivered to Vaal Mall Centre Management offices by 14:00 on 29 November 2023.
All entries will be considered for display within the mall and winners will be chosen by a panel of independent judges.
The Christmas Tree competition winners will be announced on 6 December 2023.
