Congratulations on 10 years Phoenix High

Phoenix High School in Vereeniging celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.

VEREENIGING. – Phoenix High School recently celebrated its gr. 12 Valedictory Service.

Principal André Botha said: “It is always a special occasion as it is like giving the gr.12 learners the key to the lock for their future, they just need to unlock it and open the door.”

Phoenix High School opened in 2013 with only 172 learners, all of them in gr. 8. Ten years later the school boasts 900 learners and their seventh matric group has just commenced with the matric exams.

“We wish all our learners the best of luck for the final exams. May you reap the fruits of hard work and achieve the goals you have set for yourself.

“We are proud of what we have achieved in the past 10 years, and my wish is that even long after my retirement, the learners and staff of Phoenix High will continue to rise from the ashes,” Mr. Botha said.
