Evaton YMG Gospel Choir launches new album

The group wanted to show their talent so they agreed to record this album to fulfill their dreams.

EVATON.- The Evaton YMG Gospel Choir launched their new album titled “NDIYAKHOLWA” at a launch held at La’Monks Farm in Three Rivers recently.

This 24-talented man group is formed from different denominations under the leadership of Given Motshetshe who serves as the group’s Director. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Dr Noluthando Motsoane, the group’s PR Manager hailed the launch as a great success, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats when they sang.

Dr Motsoane said previously the group belonged to Evaton Methodist Church but now consisted of members from different denominations. She said the group wanted to show their talent so they agreed to record this album to fulfill their dreams.

“I must say this album was a fulfillment of their (the group’s) dreams as they took a year to prepare themselves giving them all the necessary support. They managed to do exceptionally well as they collaborated with one of the best gospel artists Teboho Moloi who is loved by the whole of South Africa.

We want to thank everyone who came to support us on the launch day. We are here to bless and heal the Sedibeng community through music,” she told Sedibeng Ster.
