Thousands expected at MADMAC race
Thousands of runners and their supporters are expected in Midvaal on Saturday for the inaugural MADMAC race.
MIDVAAL. – The organisers of the inaugural Midvaal MADMAC road running races (21km, 10km and 5km) say they are expecting more than a thousand runners and supporters from all over South Africa.
The circus themed race will take place at Café du Cirque on the Randvaal offramp on Saturday 15 July 2023.
The organisers extended an invite to members of the public to support runners along the route.
Residents are encouraged to get up a little earlier on Saturday morning and experience the race vibe and support the runners along the way.
The race will take place from about 05:30 to 11:00.
Those traveling within the Midvaal area on Saturday morning are urged to please take caution of runners on the road and allow an extra bit of travel time.
The race organisers have appealed to motorists to please be patient with traffic officials and marshalls along the route.
