EMFULENI.- Emfuleni residents are urged to stock up on water as Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) announces a planned water shutdown.
According to ELM the emergency water supply interruption will be in effect from Tuesday night at 19h00 until Wednesday, July 12 at 19h00.
“This is due to the replacement of a bulk water supply valve at Rand Water’s Zuikerbosch pumping and purification station.”
“Consumers are advised to collect water for domestic consumption only (drinking, cooking and restroom) until supply is fully restored,” ELM said in a statement on Tuesday.
