Stop clowning around and enter MADMAC race now!
Meyerton Athletics Club is hosting a Fun Circus themed 21, 10 and 5km race at Café du Cirque on the Randvaal offramp on 15 July 2023.
With the support of Midvaal Municipality, Afrimat, Everite and Triangle Readymix the race has a total prize money purse of R50 000!
Junior, Senior, Veteran, Master and Grandmaster categories are rewarded for both the male and female contenders.
Prize money for Walkers and 5km runs are uncommon in races, however Meyerton Athletics club have taken the bold step to also include these less celebrated categories.
MADMAC is also giving back with 4 of the Local Midvaal charities, Schools, Churches and institutions all having a chance to earn back 5% of their nominated race earnings and the top Contender winning a R5000 prize.
There will be various lucky draw prizes from Crazystore and Lynca Meats.
Afri Guard made their helicopter available for the race to give it some “airtime” and the race will be started by means of an unloaded canon!
Goodie Bags are available for the first 500x contenders and a limited amount of Race Shirts is available for purchase.

Entries Entries are R180 for 21km, R120 for 10km and R70 for the 5km.
This is a race where recovered Comrades athletes can get the training ball rolling for the 2024 edition!
The race plans to develop into a full Comrades qualifier marathon that will also offer trail running options in future but also aims to make it the most fun race on the racing calendar.
