Ensuring food security to the community

“We’re very excited that Market Day keeps expanding and that we continue to support community food gardens to create sustainable livelihood opportunities in more ways,” says Sanjeev Raghubir, Sustainability Manager at the Shoprite Group.

“By improving food security in the communities that we are a part of, we are almost making these communities more adaptive and resilient to a changing climate,” says Raghubir.
