Midvaal Local Municipality to host annual Fit to Fight Fire Competition
The Fit to Fight Fire Competition and Fire Expo will be a fun filled day with exhibitors and the Fit to Fight Fire Challenge.
Midvaal Fire Department will be hosting a Fit to Fight Fire Competition and Fire Expo in Meyerton on the 27 of May 2023 at Midvaal Sport Centre.
The Fit to Fight Fire Competition and Fire Expo will be a fun filled day with exhibitors and the Fit to Fight Fire Challenge.
“We will have a play area (Jumping Castles) for children and education sessions about dangers of fire in and around the house.
“The SAPS Equestrian Unit, South African National Blood Service and K9 Unit will be there.
“There will be plenty of Fire Engines, Fire Exhibitors, Food Stalls, and a demo from ACCESS Professional Development in the handling of dangerous and Venomous snakes,” says Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM).
CPR and Fire Extinguisher demos will all be present on the day.
MLM encourages all Emergency Services personnel to join them for the day.
“We are planning on having 200 competitors (all team event) and 2 500 community members to join us for the day,” says MLM.
