Emergency power supply interruption in Vereeniging
Technicians have been dispatched to work on repairs.
Consumers in Vereeniging CBD are informed of a power supply interruption due to due to two damaged cables in the area.
Technicians have been dispatched to work on repairs.
In a statement on Tuesday Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) said: “The municipality is aware of a power supply interruption currently affecting consumers in Vereeniging CBD.”
“Power supply to parts of the CBD will be restored today while the remaining parts may be delayed due to a road drilling required to access the damaged cable.”
ELM said no guarantee can be given that supply will remain off for the duration of the interruption and therefore, affected customers are advised to always treat all electrical circuits and appliances as LIVE.
