Midvaal Mayor donates 280 school shoes, food parcels

Midvaal Executive Mayor, Alderman Peter Teixeira together with representatives of Kotulong Community Centre donated over 280 school shoes to learners of Springfield School.

MIDVAAL. – Springfield School primarily caters to mildly intellectually disabled (MID) learners.

The school offers vocational subjects such as Metal Work, Woodwork, Needlework and Office Administration.

Following this donation, the Executive Mayor further joined representatives from Lynca Meats and Harvest Fresh in Boitumelo, Ward 4.

The delegation donated over 50 food parcels to less privileged families and the elderly.

Midvaal Local Municipality sees itself as a compassionate and people-centered institution.

The Spread the Love campaign is a Mayoral Programme that seeks to assist the less privileged and those in need across all 15 Wards of the municipality.
