SEBOKENG.- The Emfuleni Local Football Association (ELFA) rewarded teams, coaches, and players for their hard work at a Year-End Price Giving held at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14, Sebokeng on Saturday.
This price-giving ceremony was attended by the clubs’ representatives and other dignitaries. The coaches and players received individual awards for their performances during the 2021/2022 season. Tebello Kheswa from Sharpeville Barcelona FC is one of the coaches who received the Coach of The Season Award, while Godfrey Mbongo was named Player of The Year.
The ELFA Head of Development, Master Zondo hailed the event as a success. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that these awards are meant to inspire coaches and players to work hard and promote healthy competition among the teams.
“As always I want to thank our sponsors especially the junior league sponsor for investing in the development of our football. I would also like to thank the executive committee for their support,” said Zondo.
