Vanderbijlpark vehicle rollover leaves one dead and three injured

VANDERBIJLPARK.- A man was killed and three others injured in a vehicle rollover on Hendrik Van Eck Boulevard in Vanderbijlpark.

According to ER24, one man was seen lying motionless in the vehicle while three others were beside the car.

The incident occurred on Saturday, ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find a light motor vehicle on its roof off the road.

ER24 said medics assessed the patients and found that the man in the vehicle had already succumbed to his numerous injuries.

“Nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.”

One man was in critical condition, while the others had sustained moderate injuries.”
The men were treated, and the critically injured man was provided with advanced life support before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.

In a separate incident a man in his 20s was left in critical condition after he was struck by a light motor vehicle on the R57 in Vanderbijlpark.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 11h03 and found a man lying in the middle of the road.

According to ER24 the light motor vehicle that had struck the man was parked on the side of the road a short distance away.
“Medics quickly assessed the man and found that he had sustained serious injuries to his head and chest, leaving him in critical condition.”
The patient was treated and provided with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to Sebokeng Provincial Hospital for urgent treatment.”
The driver of the vehicle, fortunately, escaped injury.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
