PICS: Sedibeng district Medal parade at Isak Styel Stadium
Members were awarded 10, 20 and 30 years medals respectively for their loyalty to the South African Police Service.
The Sedibeng district commissioner Major General Zodwa Ettie Molefe held the SAPS district Medal Parade.
Molefe was accompanied by District management, MMC for Public Safety Ellias Raditsela Mokoena from Emfuleni local Municipality (ELM), the District unit commanders, station commanders and officers from all levels in the district.
The event was held at Isak Styel Stadium which started with the briefing session led by the district Commissioner.
Police spokesperson, Constable Tlaleng Moloi said the purpose of the day was to hand over service medal to SAPS members who have completed an interrupted years of service in the Police service categorised as follows:
10 years loyal service, 20 years loyal service and 30 years loyal service.
