VEREENIGING. – Scenes of a multiple-vehicle collision left the Vereeniging fraternity shocked this afternoon. The incident happened on Voortrekker Road in Vereeniging.
On arrival at the scene, Sedibeng Ster found that a truck as well as several vehicles were involved in the collision.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, a bystander on the scene said that one of the vehicles hit an electrical box, causing it to burst into flames.
The police, fire brigade, and Gauteng Emergency Services were at the scene.
The road has been barricaded while police investigate further. Sedibeng Ster has inquired with the police for more information.
