Speaking to Ster South, Omoda’s principal dealer Susan Gorman couldn’t hold back her excitement.

“The launch was a massive success as we collaborated to achieve what we set out to do. We wanted to do something extraordinary as the first dealership in the country to reveal the Omoda C9 and we nailed it,” she said.

“The show was breathtaking and Omoda SA was highly impressed. One of the directors who’s back in China congratulated us for the awesome evening. We were honoured to share a glimpse of the future of mobility with everyone who attended. We got excellent feedback as many didn’t stop talking about the night and some asked that we turn the night into an annual event,” she added.

With Black Motion electrifying the night, alongside Miss P and DJ Bucks, the crowd was hyped up from start to finish.

Top brands like Central Pageant SA and Instascore were also in the mix, making the event one for the books.

Gorman revealed that the night had a deeper purpose than just the car or the glitzy fashion.

“We wanted to give back to the community, which is why there were no cover charges. It was also an amazing platform for local designers from nearby universities to showcase their designs. And judging by the feedback, we’ll definitely be making this an annual affair,” she said.
