EVATON – The community of Evaton was shocked following the discovery of a lifeless body in a stream in Kanana, near the Golden Highway.
Police spokesperson sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane said an Inquest was launched by police following the discovery.
“The police rushed to the scene after receiving a complaint from members of the community. On arrival, they found that the body was that of an African male.
“The Sedibeng Water Wing Unit responded swiftly in assisting the members to retrieve the body from the stream. The deceased was wearing a brown tracksuit top and red track pants trousers with white stripes.”
Mokhachane has since asked for assistance from the community in locating the family of the deceased man.
“The police would like to appeal to the public for any information that may assist in finding the family of the deceased person.”
