Radebe is a visionary

He is currently providing not only counsel but also motivation at schools and to inmates.

SEDIBENG. – From humble beginnings as a News Editor at Sedibeng FM, Mandla Radebe’s stature has grown to him now running his foundation.

Radebe dreamed of seeing young boys being seen and heard, and it is now happening as he models young boys into exemplary gentlemen of tomorrow. This is how the Mandla Radebe Foundation came to be.

“I saw the need to fill this gap and provide the youth with hope for a better tomorrow. Through extensive association with various departments including Education and Correctional Services, this has become a reality.”

Radebe is currently providing not only counsel but also motivation at schools and to inmates.

The Mandla Radebe Foundation has, through these motivational talks, produced outstanding individuals such as Dikengkeng Mafatle, an educator; Xolisile Shezi, a final year law student and Hlobisile Nkosi-a final year medical student.

Radebe also hosted a men’s forum last year, bringing together various religious leaders to assist in finding long-lasting solutions for eradicating GBV. He also has been invited to several radio stations as well as a few TV stations to address how the inclusion of young boys in mentoring and support will help create a better impact on future generations.

Last November Radebe won an award from the 365 Men of The Year Award in Education for being a positive role model and an asset to this country. Radebe is a visionary man tackling every aspect of the system to change the common narrative and show the country that our sons can be exemplary men.”
