"I was introduced to other DJs who became good friends to me and helped me to grow as a DJ."

SEBOKENG.- “America Got Talent”, however, Sedibeng Ster also believes Sedibeng has got talent as well when it comes to music and entertainment.

Tseko Khunou, otherwise, popularly known as “DJ Tk Da Saul” is one of the local DJs who uses his God-given talent to entertain people through playing music. He is one of the household-name DJs to have come from Vaal.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Khhunou said that his passion for being a DJ started in 2012 when he was in Mpumalanga where he was encouraged by his friends to consider DJing as a career.

“It started as something small but thanks to my friends because whenever I played music, they would tell me my selections for music were on point especially when I played R&B and how I would combine it. I grew up with this passion.

“I still remember there is this guy by the name of Mike Mathebe who introduced me to CDJ mixing and recommended me to come and play at his place. When I came back home, here in Vaal, I started to take DJing very seriously and I was introduced to other DJs who became good friends to me and helped me to grow as a DJ. I managed to revive some of the entertainment places in Sedibeng to attract more people.

For example, at the weekends I play at Lefelong and I must say the place is at the other level as we speak. I managed to turn it around. I want to be one of the top radio personalities and I’m working on my dream to make it a reality,” said Khunou.

He told Sedibeng Ster that some of the notable names he shared the stage with include top Metro FM and Kaya DJs. Some of the household names Khunoue claims to have shared the stage with include Paul Mtirara, Wilson B Nkosi, Sentle Lehoko, Press, Sjava, Tbos, Ringo, and the late Bob Mabena to name but few.

In conclusion, Khunou told Sedibeng Ster that he wants to be his own boss.
