‘Bash’… another exciting talent to come from Vaal

BOIPATONG.- This week Sedibeng Ster Sport took a short left to Boipatong to look at another exciting talent to have come from Sedibeng.

This former Boipatong FC youngster comes from the township that has produced football greats in the past. Ladies and gentlemen, this week, S’khuluma no Tshediso ‘Bash’ Tshehla (19) to find out his plans for his football career.

This Sekhukhune United skillful forward is one of the most exciting talents in the DSTV Diski Challenge to date.  Sedibeng Ster Sport has been following his progress while he mesmerises his opponents and leaves them sprawling on the turf with his skill. This is what had to say to S’khuluma no after the Sekhukhune United versus TS Galaxy DSTV Diski Challenge match at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark recently.

Q: You had a great game and you have been one of the players who have been consistent since I watched Sekhukhu United last year. What motivates you to always be on top of your game every game you play?

A: Thanks, I take this as a compliment. There is nothing special, just hard work, I also put in extra effort into training with coach Paulus Masehe, and the technical staff is always pushing me hard at training.

Q: When did you join Sekhukhukhune United?

A: I joined the club in 2023 after I passed the trials with flying colours. They were impressed by what they saw and as they say, the rest is history.

Q: When did you make your debut in the DSTV Diski Challenge?

A: I made my DSTV Diski Challenge debut against Amazulu last year in March here at Isak Steyl Stadium. It was a great feeling because my teammates from Boipatong FC were there to watch me and my family was also there.

Q: Where do you want to see yourself in the future?

A: I want to work hard to be promoted to the senior team and to play in the DSTV Premiership but my biggest dream is to play abroad. I know this will not be easy it will come with hard work and dedication. I’m ready to work hard because to me football is my life. I want to make my family proud and the Boipatong community proud.

Q: I do not doubt that you will achieve your dreams having watched you play since last year.

A: Thanks Bra Zach, this means a lot to me and I won’t disappoint you, especially people who have faith in me.
