Kardesh RSA used music to heal from his bereavement when he lost his mother and now helps many heal.

VANDERBIJLPARK – In a world full of many broken-hearted people, a prominent musician based in the Vaal, Kardesh RSA is fixing hearts with soothing Afro-Pop music.

Real name Katiso Rantsolase says music is therapeutic and the only way to heal those with broken hearts.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, the 23-year-old artist from Tshepong said he started his musical journey in 2009.

“I have been in the music industry for as long as I can remember. I performed in many different nightlife establishments in the Vaal, including Bk Lifestyle, Latino Heat Club, Thabong shopping center, among many other pubs, events, and locations,” he said.

Kardesh RSA explained why he chose Afro Pop among many other genres in the industry.

“Afro-pop is the kind of music that calms many people down including me. The reason why I chose to do this kind of genre is because I wanted to do something different from what many other artists in the Vaal and nationally are doing.

Normally when you see a new artist surfacing into the spotlight, you know they doing amapiano or deep house” he said.

As a testimony to his healing through music, Kardesh said he also aim to heal many broken people with his angelic voice.

“I strongly believe that music is a form of expression that can help many to heal. Personally, music healed me when I lost my mom when I thought everything was over but with music I healed. I am going to use the same method to help many going through different social ills in these tough economic times and heal them,” he said.

Kardesh said he is working on an EP set to be released sometime this year.

“I am excited about the project that I am working on. Each day I count hours towards the launch and this will be the kind of music people are waiting to hear,” he added.

Speaking on his plans, the bubbly musician said he plans on becoming an independent artist like Emtee and helping many other upcoming artists who want to be big music stars.
