The event being in its 5th year has captured the eyes of many other people in the area.

ORANJEVILLE. – The members of Oranjeville SAPS conducted an outreach program at Metsimaholo and Oranjeville as a way to show affection and share love with members of the community on Christmas Day.

The purpose of the initiative was to raise awareness, and support and to celebrate with the underprivileged kids. The event also aimed to bring trust and hope to members of the police. The theme of the event was “One Child One Toy”, which started at Metsimaholo local hall in the morning and ended at Oranjeville Alliance Garage.

The kids were unexpectedly showered with goodies from Sergeant Sello Mafale as Christmas gifts, bringing humour and emotions as they joyfully received them.

The event being in its 5th year has captured the eyes of many other people in the area who were overwhelmed by the expression and emotions shown by the kids and as such have vowed to join ventures in the future and make it a yearly event, especially to the kids.
