SDM MMC wishes Matrics well as exams end

"I trust and believe in you, that you are a strong child of the soil."

VEREENIGING.-  As matriculants put the final paper to rest this week, the Sedibeng District Municipality (SDM) Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Community Safety, Sport, Recreation, Arts, Culture & Heritage, Busang Tsotetsi, wished them well in their future endeavors.

On behalf of the Sedibeng Community Safety Forum, including Sedibeng Sports Federations, Tsotetsi conveyed his best wishes to all the Grade 12 learners and said:

“Think of the past 12 years’ journey that you have traveled. It is during this time when courage becomes a critical pillar to build a rewarding life. You should recognise and embrace the reality that we all pass through the valley of courage at some stage in our lifetime. We learn, grow, and prosper as individuals in a new era of life.”

Tsotetsi further said that the matriculants have survived the latter part of their secondary school era in pursuit of a dream, under extreme conditions and pressure.

“So, don’t give up now, but rather work harder to develop that inquiring mindset, and embrace good morals and ethics to guide you through this challenging period of your schooling time. That’s why you won’t be tempted and fall sideways when you get exposed to new environments and lifestyles beyond your school era.”

“Remember that crime doesn’t pay, but rather participate in various sports and recreational activities, as they will be good for you. This would greatly impact your new academic journey and well-being as a person.”
