Family Fun Day for Tshiamiso Astronauts

EVATON. – The Tshiamiso Astronauts, a Non-Profit Organization (NPO) with a mission to promote literacy and education in the community have an exciting event coming up, the Tshiamiso Astronauts Family Fun Day Fundraising event.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Kgomotso Dibetso who is the Co-Founder and President of Tshiamiso Astronauts said that the Family Fun Day is a vibrant celebration aimed at fostering a love for reading and promoting education within the community.

Set to take place on December 9, at the Evaton West Ext 3 Community Hall, the event promises a day of joy, learning, and community engagement.

“Activities on the day include a diverse range of entertainment and educational offerings for attendees of all ages. From interactive games like X-O Games and a TikTok Dance Challenge to more traditional activities such as face painting, trampoline, and book displays, there’s something for everyone. The event also features food stalls and many more.”

Dibetso said that for children aged 5 to 12, engaging activities like skipping rope, painting on canvas, and hula hoops provide both fun and learning. Meanwhile, older attendees, aged 13 to 18, can participate in a mix of enjoyable and educational activities tailored to their interests.

“The overarching goal of the event is to create a welcoming space where individuals can come together to learn, grow, and thrive. The Family Fun Day serves as a platform for promoting literacy, education, and overall community well-being. Through collaborative efforts and partnerships, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on the lives of those we serve.”
