Daddy D gives us the Boipatong song

BOIPATONG. – The talent that is in the Vaal is immeasurable.

One such is proved by the versatility of Boipatong-born Thomas Mbhele a.k.a Daddy D who is a musician, founder, director, and producer at Dirtydogz Records, based in Boipatong.

Dirtydogz Records specializes in recording, talent scouting, and the development of talented individuals while also being on a mission to provide a platform for aspiring artists, giving them the opportunity to unleash their creative potential and share their music with the world.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Daddy D said that one of their notable achievements includes the release of a Boipatong song, which was dedicated to the victims and survivors of the tragic Boipatong Massacre.

“This song holds significant meaning for our community, as it serves as a reminder of the strength and resilience of our people. We want to share the importance of preserving and promoting local talent, as well as the power of music in healing and uniting communities.”

On the Boipatong song Daddy D worked featured Tankoso Khunou and LawrieKay on the vocals. As a company, Dirtydogz Records has rendered services to government departments such as the Department of Sports, Arts, Culture, and Recreation.

Locally Daddy D has worked with numerous artists that include KhayaSotso (K Hidden), Sanele Mkhulise (T.O.E), Lehlohonolo (Hlyza), Zolani (Galaxy), Mlungisi (Lusta-Rico), Phumlani (Blackman), Bongani (Shusha), Kakgiso (Alonzo), Thabiso (2peace), Jabu (Javalamanzi), Lawrie Kay, Tankiso Khunou and Pretty Msimanga (ILLDEEP).

“I grew up in a musician household, my mother is a singer and my older brother introduced me to all the different types of music I love to this day. At school, I took music and piano lessons and was in the church choir. My music is available on all leading digital platforms.”
