BOIPATONG – Young Katleho Molefe, an 11-year-old pupil from Learskool Oospark, has been selected as a finalist for the prestigious Miss Little Revolve South Africa pageant.
The Boipatong-based grade 5 learner is now preparing to compete in the grand finale of the pageant in Midrand, Johannesburg, on October 21st at the Inani Hotel.
Molefe’s journey to becoming a finalist began with a simple Instagram post where she shared details about herself.
Her remarkable story and charisma caught the attention of the pageant organizers, who recognized her potential.
Now, she is the only junior contestant hailing from the Sedibeng District, competing head-to-head with other talented youngsters from across the nation.
Little Miss Revolve South Africa is a platform aimed at inspiring and nurturing young future leaders who possess the potential to become change-makers.
The pageant seeks to instill positivity, inspiration, and optimistic attitudes among its contestants, who are seen as potential leaders capable of transforming their communities.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Ntibi Molefe, a proud mother expressed her overwhelming pride and excitement about her daughter’s journey to the Miss Little Revolve South Africa pageant. She said, “I am so excited, and I couldn’t believe the news. Together with my husband, we have supported her from a young age. We will continue to support and motivate her to do great things.”
Beyond her academic commitments, Molefe is already making waves in the world of advertising, having been featured in various advertisements, including one for peanut butter.
Her aspirations extend far beyond the pageant stage as she dreams of one day becoming Miss Universe and has her sights set on a career in acting and modeling.
To kickstart this path at a young age, she has already become a part-time member of an agency known as Labello Casting.
Meanwhile, Ster crossed paths with the young lady who, in a heartwarming display of her compassion and dedication to her community, recently initiated a campaign to honour an elderly woman in her neighbourhood.
