Calling all former Dr Nhlapo alumni
The Boipatong-based primary school is named after Dr Nhlapho who is amongst the first black PhD graduates.
BOIPATONG. – All former Dr Nhlapo learners, teachers, and School Governing Body (SGB) are being invited to a meet and greet event that will be held at the grounds of the school on Saturday, September 23.
The Boipatong-based primary school is named after Dr Nhlapho who is amongst the first black PhD graduates and was established in 1955.
The Dr Nhlapho School Alumni Steering Committee consisting of former learners, governing body, and management including senior learners who were the first learners in the establishment of the school has been mandated to take its alumni through to the 70th Anniversary celebration in the year 2025.
“We, therefore, invite all former learners, educators, governing body members including everyone relevant to the reunion to the social gathering which will be the first step in shaping the road towards 2025 anniversary,” the Steering Committee members said.
“Let’s share ideas and take a mental journey through the journey we undertook at our school. We are requested to bring our food & refreshments as the braai stands and music shall be provided.”
