‘Let’s end Xenophobia’ MLK!

SEDIBENG.-  MLK whose real name is Alfred Thato Mofokeng recently released a single titled ‘‘Don’t Kill’.

He told Sedibeng Ster that the single is produced by NatureSoul and is dedicated to all our harmed and victimized women and children.

The 30-year-old artist is also a passionate self-driven Graphic Designer, and songwriter who started performing in 2014 after he gained breakthrough attention following the release of his mixtape. In 2015 MLK released a 14-track full studio mixtape titled ‘Into the Vee’ with features from Calvin Jesster, Champion, and YohLee. In 2016, MLK along with Kingz.

In 2013, MLK periodically designed advertisements and visual arts throughout Johannesburg where he also worked with the likes of KTZ, NatureSoul, Rise and Shine Bible Church, and Molly Superman Onyama on his singles ‘Akekho’ and ‘KasiPresident’.

MLK is known for his flows and raw lyricism in HipHop and R&B, and dark storytelling about street life. He is influenced by rappers/Musicians such as the legendary Saun Price, Jadakiss, Brenda Fassie, BlackLez, Nas, Ja-Rule, 2Pac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, Proverb, and Dave East.

On the recently released single he said: “This record is an awareness to say NO, and put an end to bad human brutality and Xenophobia attacks.”
