‘Killer wase Vaal’ hitting the right notes

SEBOKENG – 24-year-old, ‘Killer wase Vaal’ a.k.a Tshepo Mgopodi is hitting the right notes in the local music industry.
This Boitumelo, Sebokeng, resident who is also a former Sehopotso Secondary School learner and has five years in making music, is hoping to bring change to the local Amapiano music scene.
He released his first track ‘Ama2k’ in 2018 where he featured artists named Same Junior and DJ R.TEX who is now under the record label of popular artist, Dr Malinga. After that track, he said, he came up with an idea with Same Junior to build up a crew called #Amajuve9 where he started performing live.
“My first performance was at Thabong Shopping Center in Sebokeng where it was a beauty contest competition.”
Since then, he has not looked back and released his second single track, ‘Izitha’.
Tracks that Mgopodi has released include Ama2k, Tobetsa, Izitha, Stokoloko, and Ke Game and they are available on Google Play, Tubidy, Amazon, and Youtube. His role models in the industry of music are Cassper Nyovest and Focalistic.
