SEBOKENG. – The multi-talented Thato Msibi Dlamini (18) popularly known as Dj Troshka from Polokong is making waves in the entertainment industry. This follows his recent victory where he won the Tshepo One Million DJ competition.
Dlamini is also a producer, actor, and brand owner with two music videos currently being aired on various tv and radio stations. Talking about his achievement, Dlamini says the journey leading up to the battle of the DJs was an incredible experience for him.
“I’ve been honing my talent from the early age of 12. I have dedicated a lot of time to build my reputation in the music industry. Being invited to form part of this significant competition was a dream come true.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Dlamini explained that preparing for the competition required meticulous planning and attention to detail.
“I spent countless hours curating a playlist that would create a memorable experience for my audience. I planned to capture the hearts of people in the crowd by ensuring that every song on my list resonated with them, “He said.
“The crowd’s enthusiasm was overwhelming, and it was an incredible validation of the hard work and dedication I’ve put into my craft. My dreams are, to own estates and businesses helping people who are poor and suffering and also give back to the community.
“Winning the competition was the best feeling ever. I had a lot of support from family, friends, and my audience. Now my focus is making it even bigger in the entertainment industry.” He concludes.
