SEDIBENG -Musa Motha, the golden buzzer winner of Britain’s Got Talent received a hero’s warm welcome home after landing on Saturday, July 8.

Motha said the reaction to his audition caught him off guard. After landing at OR Tambo Airport on Saturday morning, he took some time to reflect on his sensational run on the talent show.

“It’s really warming to be welcomed back home, now I really feel at home. My intention was just to go and just do the auditions and let it be heard,” he said

“When I went for my auditions, I had forgotten my dance shoes and I was stressed but things went accordingly,” he added.

Addressing the gathered crowds, Emfuleni Mayor Sipho Radebe said “Emfuleni is becoming a municipality of heroes. In these few months. In these few months, we have seen wonderful things happening around Emfuleni. I am very proud and honored myself as a mayor to be experiencing such talent within our vicinity,” he said.

Meanwhile, Motha’s mother Ntokozo Motha said she is speechless by the support her son has received from the country.

“I am overwhelmed, I can’t even say a word, but I am so happy. I am so proud of my son because he raised our South African flag.  I am so excited for him that he has gone so far, and now people know him and know his talent,” she said.
